Thirdly, fit and wrap a piece of plastic around the jar’s mouth and poke 4 holes in the plastic just big enough for the flies to fit into. Fourthly, place the jar where the flies are. After 24 hours one will find numerous flies inside the jar.
This is the easiest, simplest, inexpensive and safe enough method to kill fruitflies. All one has to do is to empty the jar every 3 or 4 days, so that the eggs may not possess a chance to hatch. The adult fruitflies cannot flee through the holes. If one wants to know how to kill fruitflies he or she needs to keep them inside the jar up to two weeks to make sure he or she has captured a huge number of flies. This technique is very useful to bring back one’s kitchen to its normal condition.
